3.1 Information you give us

If you pay online, payment card information is collected and processed by our third-party payment processor over an encrypted connection. Holiday Lanes does not store full payment card numbers. We may retain a receipt record that includes the last four digits of the card, the amount, and the date.

Please do not send payment card information to us by email, text message, or through a website form. Those channels are not secure.

Like most websites, this site automatically collects technical information when you visit, including your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring page, the pages you view, and the dates and times of your visits. This information is generally not personally identifiable on its own.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties for their own purposes. Sharing mobile information with subcontractors who provide support services to us, such as our messaging platform and customer service providers, is permitted solely so they can help us deliver the service you asked for.

6. TEXT MESSAGING (SMS) PRIVACY

Our text messaging program is described in full in Section 7 of our Terms of Use. In summary:

How we get your number. You give it to us — by checking the SMS consent box on a form on our website, by checking the SMS consent box on a paper or in-center signup form, or by texting a keyword such as JOIN to (318) 746-7331. We never obtain numbers from purchased lists or third parties.
What we send. Promotional messages such as specials, events, and league promotions; transactional messages such as booking confirmations and reminders; and replies to questions you send us.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
Consent is not a condition of purchase.

Opting out of marketing does not stop transactional messages about a booking, payment, or league you are actively involved in.

8. HOW LONG WE KEEP INFORMATION

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy, or as long as the law requires. In general:

Marketing email and text list membership is kept until you opt out.
Opt-out and suppression records are kept indefinitely, so that we do not contact you again.
Booking, league, and transaction records are kept as long as needed for business and tax purposes.
Website analytics data is kept on our providers' standard retention schedules.

9. DATA SECURITY

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we hold, including encrypted connections for data submitted through our website and access controls on our systems.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

10. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Holiday Lanes is a family business and children are welcome in our center, but this website and our text messaging program are intended for adults.

We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. We do not permit anyone under 18 to opt in to our text messaging program. When a parent or guardian registers a child for a league, party, or youth program, the parent or guardian provides the information and we use it only to run that program.

11. THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND ADVERTISING

This website may link to or display content from other websites, including social media platforms, advertisers, and booking partners. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. Read their privacy policies before giving them your information.

12. PUBLIC POSTS, REVIEWS, AND TESTIMONIALS

If you post on a public part of this website or on our social media pages, that content is public and may be read, collected, and used by others. Please do not post anything you want to keep private.

If you send us a compliment or review and we would like to use it in our marketing, we will ask your permission first. We will not publish your comments as a testimonial without your consent.

13. DO NOT TRACK

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" setting. There is no common industry standard for how websites should respond to it, and this site does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals. You can still control cookies through your browser settings as described in Section 3.4.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Disputes arising from this Privacy Policy are governed by the dispute resolution, governing law, and venue provisions of our Terms of Use, which include a binding arbitration provision, a class action waiver, and a 30-day right to opt out of arbitration.
